Layers |

|
Layers overlay each other, allowing you to draw in higher layers without changing the content of the lower layers. The layer controls are inside the right hand tab. Each flickbook can have up to four layers (FlickmationLite allowss two layers).
Layers can be animated (content changes each frame) or fixed (content is the same for all frames). Fixed frames are indicated by a padlock icon. The type of layer is set when the layer is created. Fixed layers allow you to create a background, for example, over which your animation appears. The current layer, the one you are drawing to, is shown by the brush icon. Tap another layer within the table to set that as the current layers. Layers can be made invisible by tapping the eye icon, letting you concentrate on what you are currently drawing. An invisible layer still exists but its content is simply not shown. You can toggle whether animated layers appear when onion skinning. Fixed layers are never onion skinned since their content is the same for all frames. Tapping the 'Delete/reorder' button allows you to delete and reorder the layers as you would with entries in any iPhone table. When a layer is deleted all its content (for all frames) is lost.
